Statement of Purpose

The Master of divinity is a professional degree designed to prepare men and women for service in the Church.  The program provides training for participants to reflect theologically on the role of the Church in contemporary society and to develop[p skills necessary for effective ministry within the local church, mission agencies and para-church ministries.  The program provides opportunities for participants to develop theological competencies in three major area of study; biblical studies, theology and ethics and church leadership.
